We'll board a sleek and roomy helicopter and soar beyond the beaches to Kauai's largely uninhabited tropical wilderness, uncovering the undulating, secluded beauty of the Garden Isle's more aloof side. Next, we will get our toes out of the sand and see what really makes Kauai special, soaking up views that literally stretch for miles on a 50-minute aerial ride over the oldest Hawaiian island.

We'll spend the morning sailing through paradise along the emerald and crimson patchwork Na Pali Coast. Towering sea cliffs, misty waterfalls and otherworldly lava tubes provide a backdrop for our seafaring adventure. We'll get ready to spend our morning on one of 2 sleek 55-foot (17-m) catamarans - Spirit of Kauai and Spirit of Akialoa. The breeze off the water will drive our vessel through the salty air as the captain takes us to his favorite snorkeling spots.

Waterfall Picnic Horseback Ride
On our romantic honeymoon we will enjoy a peaceful ride on gentle horses, ambling across a private, working cattle ranch. Our unique adventure begins with 30 minutes on horseback, soaking up panoramic views of mountains, valleys and the ocean. We might even find ourselves riding through a herd of cows and calves. Along the way, our guide will share ranch and paniolo history with the true spirit of aloha. This horseback ride is safe for the first-time rider and enjoyable for the experienced, as well. After tying up the horses, we'll hike about 15 minutes along a steep trail, up and down (500-foot gain) with steps and rope handholds. As we wind through the lush rainforest, we'll descend a 10-foot rock wall on our way to a private 80-foot waterfall where we will explore the falls, and swim in the fern-lined pool. Then we will enjoy a delicious picnic and relax, before hiking out for 15 minutes (including a climb back up the rock wall). Our adventure ends with a leisurely ride back across open pastures, enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Kalamaku Luau - A Plantation Owner's Evening
We'll watch as the evening dims and then relights with poi ball twirlers and fire knife dancers. A lavish buffet will await us in an evening that captures the gambit - from the quiet intimacy to the stunning display of sight and sounds. Nestled in a 35-acre (14-ha) manicured pasture, Gaylord's Restaurant Kilohana sits at the end of a winding driveway. When we enter we will see the paintings of Ethel and Gaylord Parke Wilcox that line the walls. The luau celebrates the triumphs and struggles of the Hawaiian people - culminating in word, music and the hypnotic light trails of a fire dance.

Nāpali Coast Cliff Top Hike Accessible only by foot, our 6 - 7 hour, Nāpali Coast Cliff-Top Hike is designed to give you an in-depth look of the Nāpali Coast from a unique vantage point few have seen - a narrow ridge thousands of feet above the ocean! While these hikes can be muddy, slippery and strenuous, you will be amply rewarded for your effort with sweeping views of the most dramatic sections of the famous 17-mile-long Nāpali Coastline.
Meet your guide and hop into a comfortable coach. Driving East - West, you’ll witness a change in vegetation and climate as you transition into the “rain shadow”, characterized by the arid farmland of the island’s “leeward side” (on opposite side of mountains from typical trade wind direction). Along the way we’ll pass through the agricultural towns of Hanapēpē and Waimea and learn the important role they played in Kauai's history.
Your tour continues across the center of the island, winding along the rim of Waimea Canyon and to the North Shore, 4,000 feet (1220 m) above the spectacular Nāpali Coast. Rainbow-colored canyon walls and cool mountain air create an otherworldly ambiance that's unlike anything you've experienced.
We will stop at a couple of the choicest Waimea Canyon overlooks, including one with a view of 800 ft. Waipo’o Falls, before beginning our ridge hike from one of the trailheads in Kōkeʻe State Park. There we will enjoy jaw dropping views of the world famous Nāpali Coast.

Seasport Divers - South Shore Scuba We offer 2 South Shore boat trips per day, 7 days a week.
All of the boat dives are guided tours led by our experienced and highly trained dive guides. We keep the groups small, maximum of seven certified divers per guide. If you don’t have a dive buddy we will pair you with the guide. We have high quality rental equipment from SCUBAPRO and dive computers for all certified divers diving from the boat. Our crew shoot video of each dive and it is shown once you return to the shop. We will debrief the dive when we get back to the store and you will have a chance to discuss everything that was seen on the dive and have a chance to ask your guide questions about the site, or any marine life.
